HOLE 7 - THE STEADING- PAR 4

A long par 4 sloping gently uphill to a hidden green.

Tip: Aim teeshot between the fairway bunkers and do not be too long with your approach as the fairway slopes down onto the green.

HOLE 8 - LOANHEAD - PAR 4

Another long par 4, this time almost level, ending on the course's largest green with the ground dropping away steeply behind.

Tip: Be left with your teeshot, there is more fairway there than you think. Pitch your approach shot short and run it on. The green slopes away from you to a steep drop at the back.

HOLE 9 - WHINNIEBRAE - PAR 4

Uphill towards the clubhouse , the ninth doglegs to the right round a cunningly placed bunker before rising again to a slightly elevated green.

Tip: Again your teeshot should be left to open up the green. However if you are a big hitter it is shorter to go over the left hand edge of the bunker which has plently of fairway behind.

A short par 4 giving a good chance of a birdie but beware of the hidden bunkers!

Tip: Keep Left!

HOLE 11 - POWDERSWELLS - PAR 4

Another short par 4 which dog legs to the right. Round the corner, there is a hidden pond and bunker to the left of the small but interesting green. Definitely a hole where you may well be glad to be in the bunker

Tip: Keep your teeshot to the left of centre but do not be too strong or you may well land in the trees.

HOLE 12 -TIPPERARY - PAR 5

The 12th is the longest hole on the course and sweeps round two sides of the Driving Range with some interesting fairway bunkers and a large rolling green.

Tip: Playing to the left of the fairway bunkers gives an easier second shot however the brave may like to try the "Tiger line" to the right but beware, you risk your second shot landing in another bunker rather than on the green
