HOLE
1 - TULLYFERGUS - PAR 5
|

|
A zig-zag par five with a plateau green set against a back drop
of mature trees.
Tip:
Play your approach shot just to the left of the right hand bunker so
that it rolls down the bank onto the green.

HOLE
3 - BEECHKNOWE - PAR 4

green with a burn and trees beyond.
Tip:
Beware the bunker to the right of the fairway.

HOLE
4 - BERRYNEUK - PAR 3 |

|
A
longish par three from an elevated tee to a beautiful green with trees
behind and water right, a tricky shot in the prevailing westerly wind
Tip:
There is a gap in the trees to the right just opposite the green and
the prevailing wind blows right to left through it.

HOLE
5 - LOCHANS - PAR 5/4/4 |
|
In many ways the course's signature hole played from an elevated
tee over water to a wide fairway, it then dog-legs right round the trees
to an initially hidden green with more water behind.
Tip:
Keep left with your teeshot to open up the green for your second
which may give you a "birdie" opportunity.

HOLE
6 -DUNSINANE - PAR 3 |
|
A very short
par 3 that is complicated by "out of bounds" to the right
and water to the left. Again, beware the westerly wind.
Tip:
Try a half shot with a 5-iron to keep it down out of the wind.
